Why change was needed

Over the last 25 years, VASGLASS has grown exponentially, developing multiple new production lines including a thermal toughening and heat strengthening production line in 2009, a jumbo size laminating line in 2012, and a CNC glass machining center in 2014. In 2015, it installed its first ERP solution.

But VASGLASS was using an outdated ERP system that complicated the ordering process. The manual systems were time consuming and open to error, which affected the company’s ability to realize their full potential and grow the business.

The papers would need to be passed through production to different users who would write things on the order sheets, and this would cause confusion and errors. People would constantly need to go back to the office to clarify things, which was incredibly time consuming.”

They needed a modern, automated ERP system that would effectively streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction and retention—and so in 2018, VASGLASS started using FeneVision.

While already enabling dynamic scheduling, Cyncly is optimizing its software and is developing abilities to further support VASGLASS in its future expansion plans.
