Company

London, UK, April 30, 2025 – Cyncly, the leading global provider of software and content solutions that help make spaces amazing, today announced the appointment of Katia Ortiz as General Manager (GM) of Cyncly Latin America (Latam). As GM, Katia will set the vision, strategy and ambition to expand the business in the Latin American market. She succeeds Vanderlei Buffon, who dedicated more than 30 years to the business and grew the company into Latin America’s leading software provider to the furniture industry.
“We extend a warm welcome to Katia, who comes to Cyncly with extensive experience in B2B software, deep knowledge of the Latin American market, and passion for building high-performing teams,” said James Hamilton, COO. “Katia’s track record of delivering customer value makes her the perfect choice to deliver the next phase of Cyncly’s growth in the region as we invest and innovate in the future of the spaces-for-living industry. As we welcome Katia, I also want to acknowledge Vanderlei’s leadership and lasting impact on the market. We wish him well on his next chapter.”
Katia brings over three decades of experience across industry leaders such as ServiceNow and IBM, most recently as General Manager of ServiceNow’s Latam business. She has a distinguished track record of revenue growth in global, multi-product organizations, and deeply understands how to deliver customer-centric experiences across small businesses to enterprise-level clients throughout the region.
“What motivated me to join Cyncly was its inspiring vision of simplifying and connecting the entire value chain of living spaces,” said Katia. “I’m excited to collaborate with our strong global team, extend our leadership in software innovation, and build even closer partnerships with Cyncly’s stakeholders across the region.”
“The diversity of markets in Latin America requires agility, active listening and a real ability to adapt,” added Katia. “2024 was a year of significant progress for the team, with 15% growth of the customer base. Cyncly will remain committed to offering solutions that combine flexibility and scale, driving growth in all the sectors we serve. In leading Cyncly Latam, my goal is to build on this progress, expanding our presence in new markets and consolidating strategic partnerships. The company believes in Latin America's potential as a hub for innovation and growth. We are prepared to deliver even more value to our customers with solutions that support their digital transformation journeys, always with a focus on sustainable, long-term results.”
