The GIBUS story
GIBUS is a leading Italian brand in high-end outdoor design, renowned for pergolas, awnings and glass roofs. Founded in 1982 by Gianfranco Bellin, the company has grown from its solar-protection roots into a European player blending aesthetics, functionality and sustainability. In 2019, GIBUS became a publicly traded Italian company, and then acquired a Bavarian company to support international growth.
Its main customers are dealers and installers, who in turn serve individual consumers. Between 2013 and 2014, GIBUS saw product complexity and dealer demand rising.
