Smart Glazier Acquisition

Cyncly’s acquisition of Smart Glazier

On March 19, 2026, Cyncly announced it acquired Smart Glazier, a dedicated software provider for the glazing contractor market.

We believe combining Smart Glazier with the broader Cyncly Windows, Doors and Glass organization will enable us to connect glaziers and manufacturers through a seamless “field-to-factory-and-back” digital thread, bridging the gap between on-site measurement and shop-floor fabrication.

Below, you’ll find answers to questions about what you can expect from Cyncly’s acquisition of Smart Glazier.

About the acquisition

Q: Who is Cyncly?

Cyncly is a global leader in specialized software for the spaces for living industry. With over 2,300 employees and 70,000+ customers, Cyncly provides end-to-end solutions that connect the entire value chain, from inspiration and design to manufacturing and installation.

Q: Who is Smart Glazier?

A: Smart Glazier is a dedicated software provider for the flat glass and glazing industry. Their platform empowers glazing contractors and glass shops to handle complex designs, rapid quoting, and job management (ordering, scheduling, and invoicing) with ease. Their focus is on making the “hard parts” of glass – such as complex deductions and hardware notches – automatic and error-free.

Smart Glazier targets glaziers and small fabricators & distributors through its products SG Design, SG Business, and SG Connect, which together support the full glazing workflow from design and quoting to job management.

Q: Why is Cyncly acquiring Smart Glazier?

Cyncly already provides the world’s leading manufacturing and ERP solutions for the glass industry. By acquiring Smart Glazier, we are closing the gap between the job site and the factory floor. This acquisition allows us to provide a “field-to-factory-and-back” digital thread, ensuring that the people measuring and selling glass in the field are perfectly synced with the people manufacturing it in the shop. Smart Glazier allows us to:

  • Extend Cyncly meaningfully into the installer and contractor segment, unlocking a large, under-digitised market.
  • Strengthen the value we deliver to the industry, by connecting manufacturers, dealers, and contractors on a more seamless, end-to-end platform.
  • Reinforce ecosystem connectivity by enabling digital supplier–contractor workflows and deeper integration across our solutions.

Smart Glazier brings proven technology, market knowledge, and customer relationships that meaningfully accelerate our strategy.

Q: When will the acquisition take place?

A: The acquisition of Smart Glazier by Cyncly is now complete. From this day onwards, the Smart Glazier team are officially become part of the Cyncly group.

Over the next few months, Cyncly and Smart Glazier teams will work together to design and launch Smart Glazier’s integration. Our mutual focus is on ensuring we protect and enhance our respective strengths, embarking on a joint growth journey, in alignment with Cyncly’s vision to become the industry leader.

Q: How will this benefit glaziers and manufacturers using Smart Glazier?

A: As part of Cyncly, Smart Glazier will have significantly more resources to accelerate product development.

  • Deepened integrations: Expect "one-click" ordering to a wider network of FeneVision-powered fabricators.
  • Enhanced features: Increased investment in R&D means support for new types of hardware, better design logic, and faster updates.
  • Stability: You gain the backing of a global organization while keeping the specialized tools and support team you rely on.

Q: How will this benefit fabricators and manufacturers using FeneVision or other Cyncly manufacturing products?

A: Fabricators will see an immediate improvement in the quality of incoming orders from the contractor segment.

  • Clean data intake: Eliminate the need to decipher hand-drawn sketches or re-key data. Orders arrive validated and production-ready.
  • Reduced scrap: With better design logic at the point of sale, measurement and deduction errors are caught before they reach the cutting table.
  • Customer loyalty: You can offer your customers a professional tool that makes their lives easier, making you their preferred supplier.

Q: What is your product strategy for Smart Glazier and Cyncly?

A: Our strategy is integration without interruption. We will continue to invest in Smart Glazier as a standalone, best-in-class tool for contractors. Simultaneously, we are building native data bridges between Smart Glazier and FeneVision to create a seamless, end-to-end workflow for those who use both.

Q: How will day-to-day operations be impacted for current Smart Glazier and Cyncly customers?

A: For the near term, you will not see any changes. We acquired Smart Glazier because we recognize the power of the work they are doing, and we believe in their team. You will continue to get the same great service you have been getting and that you appreciate. Day-to-day operations and processes, including invoicing and key contacts remain unchanged.

For the long term, we’re confident that you’ll start to see even better service and results as an outcome of this acquisition. You’ll benefit from increased investment in innovation, in R&D, in customer experience, and more. We look forward to providing updates on enhancements and new opportunities as they arise.

Q: What will be your approach to other third-party integrations currently live with either Smart Glazier or with Cyncly’s products (including WebConnect)?

A: Cyncly remains committed to an open glass ecosystem. Smart Glazier will continue to support its existing third-party integrations, and users will always have the freedom to work with the fabricators and partners of their choice.
