“We use the slogan easy, and we didn’t come up with that slogan. We heard it so many times from customers,” says Matt Thornton, President of Thornton Flooring.

Helping customers visualize their space and get an accurate quote quickly can be complex without the right tools. Many stores require days between site visits, product selection, and estimates, but Thornton wanted to eliminate that delay.

“Customers come in, they’re always showing us pictures on their phone… Rather than someone looking over their shoulder, we plug the phone into a TV. Now the TV screen becomes the phone screen.”

The team needed a solution that could bring speed, clarity, and control to both the showroom and the home.

Thornton Flooring turned to RFMS Measure to transform their in-home measuring and quoting process. The solution lets their team take laser measurements, document room photos, and send everything directly back to the salesperson – all in real time.

“Our measure team uses RFMS Measure. They're measuring with lasers and iPads and sending pictures and measurements back to the salesperson. Within a half hour of being at the house, we can have an estimate completed.”

In the showroom, Thornton combines product visualization software with customersupplied photos to show real-time design transformations on large-screen TVs.
