Glass Magazine names Cyncly’s browser-based FeneVision Tracking app the “Best Innovation for the Factory,” recognizing a modern, mobile-ready path forward for shop floor scanning.
Solon, OH, August 3, 2026 – Cyncly, the leading global provider of software and content solutions that power the seamless creation of spaces for living, has won a Glass Magazine "Best Innovation for the Factory" award for its FeneVision Tracking Web-Native Mobile App. The recognition, part of the annual Glass Magazine Awards, highlights how Cyncly is helping window, door, and glass manufacturers modernize production tracking by moving it out of legacy handheld devices and into the modern browser, where connected, real-time technology has become the foundation for staying competitive, efficient, and profitable.
FeneVision Tracking provides the scanning, traceability, and work-in-process visibility that manufacturers rely on during production. With the new web-native mobile application, operators can access Tracking from a modern smartphone, tablet, or desktop simply by opening a URL, with no RDP, VPN, or device-specific installation required. Tracking events update live production data across FeneVision in real time, keeping teams working from a single, current view of the shop floor.
Today, the web-native application complements PC station tracking rather than replacing it. It is designed for smaller areas and locations where a fixed PC scanning station is not practical, extending tracking into parts of the factory that were previously difficult to reach. This flexibility is central to the award recognition, giving manufacturers a lightweight, mobile option that works alongside their existing desktop stations.
The award addresses a long-standing challenge for manufacturers: legacy tracking depends on specialized handheld devices, registry-based station settings, and remote desktop sessions tied to terminal servers. Adding or relocating a scan point often requires new hardware, lengthy provisioning, and IT involvement, which slows production changes and limits how widely manufacturers can track their operations. New employees also face a steep learning curve with outdated device workflows.
By allowing the use of standard browsers and a modern mobile interface, the web-native application removes these barriers, reduces operational overhead, and makes it far easier to broaden tracking coverage across the factory.
“This award reflects the customers who built it with us,” said Don Busiek, General Manager, Windows, Doors & Glass at Cyncly. “Our Voice of Customer program brings together manufacturers from across all of our markets, meeting monthly to shape the product. That steady, structured feedback is the reason the application solves real shop floor problems. The result is a modern, mobile complement to PC station tracking that makes it far easier to add scan points, onboard new employees, and broaden coverage across the factory.”
The web-native application is a phased, forward-compatible foundation. Customers gain immediate benefits for mobile workflows today, while the architecture is deliberately shaped to expand toward full parity with desktop Tracking in future releases, giving manufacturers a clear and flexible path to modernize the entire Tracking experience.
The FeneVision Tracking Web-Native Mobile App is available now as part of the FeneVision 2026.1 release.
